You know you’ve done good work. You know you’ve shown up, solved problems, held things together when they were falling apart, and made a difference in the places you’ve worked.

And then someone asks you to write it down, and the voice starts.

“That wasn’t a big deal.” “Anyone could have done that.” “I didn’t really accomplish anything worth putting on a resume.”

If that voice is familiar, this is important: that’s not humility, and it’s not accuracy. That’s trauma doing what trauma does, shrinking your story down until it fits inside the lie that you don’t have much to offer. And as long as that voice is the one writing your resume and preparing your interview answers, it’s going to keep costing you opportunities you actually deserve.

That’s exactly what this worksheet is for.

The Achievement Inventory Worksheet is a trauma-informed tool that walks you through the process of finding, naming, and documenting your professional accomplishments in a way that works with your nervous system instead of against it.

You’ll start with your most recent wins, the things you’ve done in the last three months, because recent achievements are the easiest to recall and the best place to begin building confidence in the process. From there, you’ll collect the external recognition you’ve received, the positive feedback, the formal acknowledgments, the things other people noticed about your work that you may have quietly dismissed.

There’s a Challenge Overcome Inventory that asks you to look at the hard things you navigated and see them for what they actually are: evidence of exceptional resilience. There’s a Quantifiable Contributions section that helps you find the numbers behind your impact, because concrete data is one of the most powerful antidotes to self-doubt. A full Skills Inventory helps you see the range of what you bring, across technical, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership categories.

One of the most unique pieces is the Witness Method, a guided conversation you can have with a trusted colleague or mentor who has seen your work firsthand. Sometimes the clearest picture of what we contribute comes from someone who wasn’t told to minimize it.

All of it flows into a Resume Translation Section, where you turn everything you’ve gathered into polished, professional language ready to use on applications, in interviews, and during performance reviews.

And throughout the entire worksheet, there’s a Self-Compassion Corner, because this kind of work can bring up the inner critic in full force. This section gives you grounding tools to use when that happens, so you can keep going instead of shutting down.
