You Know the Pattern. Now Let’s Work With It.
Maybe you already know you people-please.
You recognize the perfectionism, the overworking, the difficulty setting boundaries, the way feedback can stay with you long after the conversation ends, or the tendency to make yourself smaller when being visible feels risky.
You’ve done enough work to recognize that what’s happening today may have roots in experiences that happened long before this job.
But knowing that doesn’t always make it easier when you’re sitting in the meeting, preparing for the difficult conversation, considering the opportunity, or trying to decide what to do next.
That’s where the RCA Accelerator begins.
The RCA Accelerator is a trauma-informed group career coaching program where we take what you’re learning about yourself and work with it in the context of the career you’re actually living.

Knowing Why Isn’t Always Enough
There can be an enormous amount of relief in finally understanding why certain experiences at work affect us so deeply.
But then Monday morning comes.
Your manager sends the email.
Someone questions your work.
You need to say no.
There’s tension with a coworker.
You’re asked to speak in a meeting.
An opportunity appears, and instead of feeling excited, you find yourself looking for every reason you aren’t ready.
Suddenly, we’re not thinking about the pattern anymore.
We’re inside it.
And that’s often where change gets difficult.
Because there’s a big difference between knowing what we’d like to do differently and being able to access that new response when the old one has been practiced for years.
The RCA Accelerator gives you somewhere to bring those moments.
Bring Your Real Career Into the Room.
This isn’t coaching built around hypothetical workplace scenarios.
We work with what’s actually happening.
Bring the conversation you’re avoiding.
The boundary you need to set.
The feedback you’re replaying.
The conflict you don’t know how to navigate.
The opportunity you want but are afraid to pursue.
The interview that’s bringing up every insecurity.
The manager who activates something in you that you can’t quite explain.
The career decision you keep second-guessing.
Instead of asking only, “Why do I do this?” we can begin asking:
“What do I want to do next?”
And then we work on that together.
From Automatic Response to Intentional Choice
The 5 R Framework
Our work inside the RCA Accelerator is grounded in the 5 R Framework, a trauma-informed approach to recognizing the patterns that may be interfering with the career you want and building new ways of responding when those patterns show up.
The framework takes us beyond simply understanding why something keeps happening.
We learn to recognize the pattern, explore what’s underneath it, consider how we want to respond now, practice that response, and reinforce what we’re learning as we take it back into the real world.
Because awareness matters.
But awareness alone doesn’t change a career.
Change becomes possible when we have opportunities to make different choices, practice new responses, see what happens, and keep building from there.
That’s what the RCA Accelerator gives you: a place to do that work with ongoing coaching and support.

What Could Change for You?
The goal isn’t to never feel triggered, uncomfortable, or uncertain at work.
It’s to create more space between what happens and what you do next.

This isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about creating the internal and external conditions that allow you to define what career success means to you, and pursue it.
What Happens Inside the RCA Accelerator?
The RCA Accelerator is where insight meets real life.
Throughout the year, you’ll have opportunities to bring what’s happening in your career into a trauma-informed coaching space, work through it, practice new responses, and take what you’re learning back into the situations that matter to you.
You don’t have to wait until you have the perfect coaching question or know exactly what you need.
Bring what’s happening. We’ll start there.
You Don’t Have to Figure This Out Alone.
There are some things we can learn through reading, reflection, workshops, and working through a tool on our own.
And then there are the moments when knowing what to do and actually doing it can feel very different.
Maybe you know you need to set the boundary, but every version of what you might say feels too harsh.
Maybe you understand why feedback affects you so deeply, but that understanding doesn’t stop you from replaying the conversation.
Maybe there’s an opportunity you want, but you can’t tell whether the hesitation you’re feeling is telling you this isn’t right for me or this doesn’t feel safe yet.
Those are the moments we can bring into coaching.
Inside the RCA Accelerator, you have a place to slow the situation down, explore what’s happening, consider your options, and practice what you might want to do next.
You are still the one making the decisions.
You decide what success means to you. You decide what feels right. You decide what you’re ready to try, and you decide what you want to share.
My role isn’t to tell you how your career should look.
It’s to help you create more awareness, choice, and possibility in how you build it.
No armor required.
You don’t have to show up polished, prepared, or with the perfect coaching question. You can show up as you are.
Is the RCA Accelerator Right for You?
The RCA Accelerator may be a good fit if you:
✓ You recognize the patterns.
You already see some of the people-pleasing, perfectionism, overworking, shutting down, difficulty with feedback, conflict avoidance, visibility fears, or other patterns affecting your career.
✓ You’re ready to move beyond understanding why.
You want support figuring out what you can actually do when those patterns show up at work.
✓ You have real career situations you want help navigating.
A difficult manager. A boundary. A conversation. An opportunity. A career decision. A leadership challenge. A conflict. A next step you can’t quite take.
✓ You want career coaching that takes your history into account.
You don’t want to make your entire career about trauma, but you also don’t want advice that ignores how your past may be influencing your present.
✓ You’re willing to practice.
You don’t have to get it right. You do need to be willing to get curious, experiment with different responses, see what happens, and keep learning.
✓ You want to build a career that reflects who you are now.
Not the career someone else thinks you should have. Not the career that simply feels safest. A career built around what matters to you and how you define success.
What the RCA Accelerator Is Not
The RCA Accelerator is not therapy, mental health treatment, crisis support, or a substitute for working with a licensed mental health professional when that support is needed.
It is trauma-informed career coaching.
We may explore how past experiences are influencing what’s happening at work today, but our focus is on your professional life:
The conversation you need to have.
The boundary you’re trying to set.
The opportunity you’re considering.
The relationship you’re navigating.
The way you’re responding to feedback, conflict, authority, visibility, or uncertainty.
The career you’re trying to build.
We acknowledge where the pattern may have come from so you can have more choice about where you go from here.

Why a Year?
Patterns that developed over years rarely disappear because we understood them once.
And real life doesn’t hand us all of our opportunities to practice at the same time. The difficult conversation may happen next month. The promotion opportunity may appear six months from now. The boundary may become clear only after we’ve crossed it a few more times.
A year gives us something a one-time workshop or a short-term program can’t:
Time to work with what happens as it happens.
There is no expectation that you’ll spend an entire year constantly “working on yourself.”
Instead, you have a place to return as your career gives you something worth working through. You can notice what’s happening, practice a different response, try it in real life, reflect on what happened, adjust, and keep building from there.
Because this isn’t about how quickly you can change. It’s about having support while you practice changing what you want to change.
You Have Already Survived Enough.
Your career doesn’t have to be another thing you survive.
You don’t have to fix everything about yourself before you can pursue meaningful work. And you don’t have to erase your past to build something different.
You can understand the patterns that followed you into work, recognize the strengths you developed along the way, and practice new responses when old survival strategies show up.
You can become more curious about what you want.
More intentional about the choices you make.
More willing to consider possibilities that once felt out of reach.
And when the old patterns show up again, because sometimes they will, you don’t have to figure out what comes next by yourself.
Your past is part of your story. It doesn’t get to write the rest of it.
If you’re ready to move beyond recognizing the patterns and start practicing what you want to do differently, we’d love to welcome you inside the RCA Accelerator.
