You get it -- you really get it. I always suspected I was not alone in what you describe, and I'm relieved to know that I was probably right. I'm sorry to know others are suffering, but if this is a known thing, then there must be hope for overcoming it.
Sometimes when I recognize something that I want, that I want to do, that captures my interest, it's as if a wall immediately appears between that thing and me, blocking my way from moving forward. I feel it in my chest and my throat.
I'm sure looking forward to the discovery call with you next week. (I scheduled it several weeks ago).
I am looking forward to it too, my friend. It is so helpful when someone can give words to what we're feeling but can't explain. And knowing we are not alone is so comforting.
Same here…only I didn’t know it. I knew something wasn’t quite right, but I didn’t know what it was. It just felt like I had to work harder than everybody else just to keep up.
Thank you for reaching out. I’m sorry that you had to go through that, but I’m curious about how you managed it. Did you do something besides what I suggested to work your way through it? Your voice can help others.

Thank you for these words, I completely relate! 'It is about what you were carrying'- this has been me my whole life...
